Strong Earthquake Jolts Pu’er City In Southwest China

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake hit Pu’er city in Yunnan Province at 21:49 BJT on Tuesday. The quake has led to strong aftershocks. Although there have been no reports of casualties so far, eyewitness accounts speak of houses trembling and tiles breaking while scared locals ran to open spaces for safety.
