Floods in Italy: Container crashes into bridge, trees fall into water in Parma

The Baganza river flooded the South West part of Parma, causing a bridge to fall down, basements to flood, pylons to tilt, access to the West part of the city to be cut-off, schools to close and streets covered with mud.

At Ponte Romano (Corigliano province of Parma) a Parm ham factory has been completely flooded, causing 2 million euros worth of damages. Heavy rains hit the Emilia Romagna region as well on Monday.

Parma floods have Swallowed hundreds of cars.
